Carl B. Shory, M.D. |
Carl joined the staff of the Latham's Hair Clinic in 1981 and has been medical director since 1984. He is a graduate of Spring Hill College in Mobile and graduated from the University of Alabama Medical School at Birmingham. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Shory was the first physician in the United States to use exclusive whole-head mini-grafts and micro-grafts. He developed several radio-surgical techniques for hair transplantation which are now used world-wide. He has published several articles on hair transplantation and has been invited to lecture in numerous countries in Europe, Africa as well as throughout North America. Dr. Shory is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery and the International Hair Society.
